Our  chefs are passionate about getting you involved in the cooking process, further inspiring you to strengthen your skills in the kitchen. With a wide array of classes from bread making to sharpening your knife skills, we’ve got endless possibilities to choose from.  Our classes range from demonstration style to hands-on.

Join us Thursday, January 6th, to master the art of the classic Macarons from our Pastry Chef Autumn. She will be showing you just how simple it is to make these beloved confections while also demonstrating the best ways to fill them. By the end of the class, you will be able to make beautiful macarons that will impress your friends and family.

COOKING WITH BOURBON

JANUARY 8TH 10AM-12PM

Join us on January 8th to enjoy some spectacular bourbon inspired cooking with local celebrity Chef Albert Schmid. You may have seen him on WCTV in the mornings or maybe you have read one of his fantastic cocktail books, well we are so excited to have him in the Brown's Kitchen! Chef Albert will be preparing his Chicken Kentuckiana. A fried chicken breast served in a bourbon cream sauce with spinach and mushrooms, served with mashed potatoes and a side of Kentucky bourbon Acorn squash. Also paired with Woodford Pudding. A classic dessert from Woodford County Kentucky featuring a winter spice blackberry cake and a bourbon sauce.

Join us January 15th for a kickstart to a healthier year! Chef Christian isn’t a fan of the word diet, its all about making healthier choices where you can. In this brunch inspired class, Chef Christian will be remixing some classic brunch staples to make them grain-free, gluten free, and keto-friendly. She will be demonstrating her technique for making bagels, scones, granola, and a fun whipped coffee treat! Say no to diets and yes to delicious healthy options!

QUICK & EASY 
SOUTHERN STAPLES

JANUARY 22ND 10AM-12PM

Limit 20 people

Do you like simple, quick, and easy recipes that you can prepare ahead of time and just pop in the oven for a delicious weeknight meal that’s certain to become a favorite? If so, this is a class you will not want to miss. Joyce, from Home with the Halsteads, will show you how to make a delicious hot chicken salad that combines texture and crunch with creaminess. You will also learn to make her delicious southern style pecan pie recipe that has been in her family for over 75 years. It too can be made ahead of time and served plain, with whipped cream, or ice cream. At the end of the class, you will enjoy lunch consisting of hot chicken salad, green salad, and pecan pie. Invite a friend and come enjoy a fun-fill time together!

PUFF PASTRY

Join us January 29th for a class all about the beautiful puff pastry. Chef Christian is a spectacular instructor a Keiser here in town, and she is here to share her knowledge of this tricky, but oh so delicious, pastry. She will be demonstrating the full process of lamination to create those buttery, flakey layers. She will also show you how to make classic puff pastry based dishes. Get ready to take notes so you can make your favorite puff pastry desserts at home!

COOKIE DECORATING

FEBRUARY 5TH 10AM-12PM

Join us February 5th for Cookie Decorating! In this class you will learn how to decorate classic royal icing sugar cookies, and get Chef Autumn’s favorite sugar cookie recipe. Each person will have 6 Valentines inspired blank cookies to learn and practice how to apply royal icing. By the end of class you will leave with a new set of skills and some delicious cookies! Each attendee will also get to take home the 4 piece piping kit provided to you in the class.

VALENTINE'S 
DAY CHOCOLATE

Join us February 12th for a class that will inspire you to make delicious chocolate candies and desserts for those special people in your life! Chef Christian will be starting from the beginning and demonstrating how to properly temper chocolate. From there you will learn how to make not just hand rolled truffles but filled truffles as well! To finish it off she will be showing you how to make a delicious salted caramel chocolate tart.

Join us on February 19th for another fantastic class with Chef Albert Schmid! Since January and February are Florida's coldest months, Chef albert is bringing you winter inspired dishes that you'll want to make all year round! This class will feature Orange Pork, roasted pork loin served in an orange bourbon sauce served with roasted Brussel sprouts and rice pilaf. As well as apple tarts with a vanilla cream sauce.

Join us February 26th for a class all about croissants! Chef Christian will be walking you through the whole process of lamination to create beautiful flakey layers in your croissants. From there she will be sharing her recipes for savory filled croissants and pain au chocolat. By the end of this class you will have the tips, tricks, and techniques you need to make this delightful morning pastry at home!
