Chef Leon's classes keep selling out so he is going to teach 2 classes in one day to try to accommodate everyone!  Join Chef Leon as he shows us flavor-enhancing techniques that he has perfected over the years that will take your soup to the next level.  Few dishes can fill, comfort, and satisfy like a big bowl of hearty soup. Good soup is easy to make, but great soup requires a whole lot of know-how.  He will visit classics like tomato soups, bring a comforting mushroom soup to the next level, introduce a strawberry gazpacho, and a Burmese Samosa Soup. Soups are an opportunity balance and introduce flavors with every bite. This class will focus on working with great ingredients and techniques to make happy bellies!!

Chef Leon has decided to go vegetarian for two months in order to teach a class on vegetarian recipes and techniques. In order to understand the diet and lifestyles, he has decided to live it himself. Cooking without animal fats highlights ingredients throughout dishes. We will explore this through Black Bean Cakes, parsnips, mushrooms, brussels sprouts, and other seasonal vegetables. Even if you are not Vegetarian, come and enjoy learning about new techniques and recipes for a healthier lifestyle in 2020!

WINE WORKSHOP-Does the Glass Matter?

We think they do!  There’s a reason wine glasses come in so many shapes and sizes, and it’s not just about the marketing.  Come experience the difference yourself!  Tallahassee wine enthusiast, Jen Hinson, will discuss why wine glass quality and shape matters, and will demonstrate the difference with a Pinot Noir tasting.  She will also discuss wine tasting techniques, serving temperatures, and more.  By the end of this class, you will be well equipped to confidently serve, taste and discuss wine with fellow wine lovers!  Each participant will get 2 complimentary Riedel glasses, (valued at $60) to take home with them and will be used in the tasting.
